The Spectrum Center is in the heart of the upscale business district of Irvine. The 7545 Irvine Center Drive offices have good access to both the 5 and 405 freeways, and are situated near the Irvine Spectrum Center, a retail and entertainment complex. Irvine has been rated one of the top cities for start-up businesses and its strong, fast-growing economy helped place Orange County as one of the top ten fastest growing job markets. International companies that have their North American headquarters here include sports equipment company Asics, computer and video game developer Atlus, electronics company BenQ Corporation, car makers Kia Motors and Mazda, food company Marukome, internet company NHN and conglomerate Toshiba. There are dozens of other corporates headquartered in Irvine with the technology, medical and education/research sectors among the major employers in the city. The center is close to an Amtrak rail station and John Wayne airport serves this part of Orange County.
