The Brisbane Northbank Centre has some spectacular views from the top floor of a 22-storey office building in the heart of Brisbane's central business district. The centre is close to a variety of companies working in the likes of law, financial services, electronics, natural resources, engineering and media. Brisbane is a major commercial hub, at least partly due to a local abundance of natural resources. In the wider Brisbane area, petroleum refining, paper milling and metalworking are important industries. The Northbank Centre which used to be the location of the Brisbane City Council headquarters has been fully refurbished to a very high standard. The centre is only five minutes' walk from Roma Street Train Station, and also a short stroll to the CityCat and CityFerry, the Brisbane River public transport boats.
