The Beirut Solidere Centre is a high-profile location in the middle of the Lebanese capital's Central District, which features a concentration of business and commercial activity that's important nationally, across the Middle East and internationally. Rebuilt after the civil war, Beirut once again has thriving tourism and banking industries and, nationally, the services sector is the most important pillar of the economy. Agriculture and manufacturing play a part, but the service sector contributes around two thirds of the Lebanese annual GDP. Beirut is the country's main seaport so trade is important and the city also boasts a healthy publishing sector. Lebanon as a whole has a growing economy that bucked the global trend, thanks to conservative banks, and escaped the recent recession. Beirut Solidere Center has good access to road transport and Beirut International Airport. There is on-site parking and hotels, bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops are all nearby.
