The San Ramon Center is located at Bishop Ranch, the largest business park in Contra Costa County, which includes offices, a hotel, shopping and entertainment. Many large corporations now have headquarters in similar developments all along what is called the 680 corridor and San Ramon is one community to benefit. Energy company Chevron Corporation, the top local employer, is based nearby, as is the West Coast headquarters of telecommunications and internet company AT&T. The San Ramon Medical Center is just minutes away and easy freeway access also makes Bishop Ranch attractive as a regional distribution point for courier companies.
