Our centre in Seefeld, Zurich, is ideally located within Zurich's central banking and administrative district and only a two-minute walk from the lake. Trams and buses depart from in front of the building, which partly dates back to 1839. The centre is located within the historical District 8 with several law firms among the local companies.
By far the most important economic activity in Zurich is the service sector, which employs almost a fifth of the workforce. Other important industries include the light industry, machinery and textile industry and tourism. Most Swiss banks have their headquarters here, as do numerous foreign banks. The Swiss stock exchange was founded here in 1877 and is now one of the world's most prominent securities exchanges.
