The Stuttgart City Centre is located on Stuttgart's famous Königstrasse, possibly Germany's longest pedestrianised street, running along the city's main square, the Schlossplatz. Located on the fifth floor of a modern building, the centre enjoys stunning views of Stuttgart and the surrounding hillside from a private terrace. The centre has underground car parking, and is two minutes away from the main rail and Schlossplatz underground stations, with fast connections to the airport. Stuttgart is known as 'the cradle of the automobile' and is still home to major automotive manufacturers. It also attracts hi-tech industries and the region registers a high number of patents and designs. Stuttgart Stock Exchange is the second largest in Germany and there many leading financial institutions in the city.
