The Sao Paulo Parque Cultural Paulista Center is on the fourth floor of a high-rise office block on Paulista Avenue, rumoured to be the most expensive stretch of real estate in Latin America. This eight-lane road is at the highest point of the city, and its skyline is distinctive because of the many radio and television station antennae. Paulista is a key financial district in a city that has the third largest stock exchange in the world, and a high proportion of millionaires among its population. Sao Paulo has over 1,500 bank branches as well as offices of many local and international banking and legal firms. The center has great public transport links, as many bus routes cross the 3km long Paulista Avenue, and there are metro stations close by. It takes just 10 minutes to get to the city's domestic airport.
