1600 Corporate Center has an impressive reception area with panoramic views of the Chicago Skyline and the surrounding Forest Preserves. Nestling in Chicago's pleasant north west suburb of Rolling Meadows, the center is within the city's Golden Corridor, renowned for generating huge economic profit for the communities within it. Many Fortune 500 company headquarters, office parks, industrial parks, convention centers and other commercial premises can be found in the corridor, based along the I-90 interstate highway. A number of world famous, technologically innovative companies, such as Motorola, are nearby. The large, modern Schaumburg Convention Center is also only a short distance away from the center. Like central Chicago, Rolling Meadows is part of Cook County, which contains a very large proportion of Illinois' 18,000-plus manufacturing plants.
